Mmmm.....Foood.

Today I did some house chores (always with music on) and some work on the computer. Never a dull moment in my world.

I had another successful meeting organizing the fundraising event last night with a couple of well known lads who are using their powers for good.
I feel so blessed.
Can’t say anything but I am excited.

Tonight my Mother and one of her sisters (who is my 2nd mum), who recently broke her ankle, are both coming over for a B.B.Q. dinner.
I have been marinating food all day.
Mmmm…. Fooood.

Dear Phil,

G'day and i recently saw your article in the Bulletin and was immediately drawn to your story as in so many ways it mirrors my life.

Whilst i am a married woman of 54 with two teenage kids living at Burleigh, I also was leading a seemingly good but busy life.

Over the last few years I have been struggling with similar symptoms such as losing balance, depression, loss of speech, etc.

Initially I was diagnosed as depressed, then cerebellum atrophy and only recently, multiple systems atrophy.

Whilst the conditions are different the symptoms seem so very similar. the medical team have not given us much hope and I am also receiving some in home care from Blue Care and others.

The boys understand my condition and are trying to help but it is a big struggle for all of us including my husband. I can sympathize with your condition but just wanted to know how you coped and whether we could speak over the phone or skype some time.

Regards
